Unprecedented in contemporary sculpture, Christiane Löhr exclusively uses renewable materials for her sculptural works. His delicate sculptures made in various forms are constructed from natural materials such as herbs, flowers, seeds and horsehair, of which the artist is particularly interested in the process of transformation. On the occasion of her first exhibition in a museum in Berlin, at the Haus am Waldsee Christiane Löhr will present works from the 2000s.
