Richard Long. Provencal stones and vallauris clay

For the exhibition at Château La Coste Richard Long has conceived two in situ installations: From Stone to Stone, which brings together three types of provencal stones, and Mistral Days, two frescos in red mud coming from the Vallauris region, capital of the ceramic in France. In continuity with the exhibition and ispired by the location, the artist has realized also A Line in Provence, a white stones' line placed in the water which heads the gaze of the viewer towards the surrounding nature and landscape.
